The towels smelt like mildew, and then there was hair all over the bedding

We stayed here because we had a concert in Atlanta and we also wanted to explore Covington, that’s why this location was perfect for our needs. There is a Walmart nearby, which made shopping easy as well.

The water in the pool was green, I don’t think you can swim in it, but it was listed as one of the amenities. Very mediocre breakfast with almost no protein available. In general, very run-down. Most outlets were loose and even my phone wouldn’t charge in most of them. But the worst part was the housekeeping. We didn’t know they were going to clean every day, so we went to explore Covington and when we came back, we found the door to our room unlocked (needless to say, we thought someone had broken in and freaked out). Turned out they came in to clean and basically the only thing they did was to make the bed, take out the trash and the towels. However, they didn’t bring new towels and didn’t leave new trash bags, also took the used soap and never gave us a replacement. When we went to talk to the staff, we were told that they usually come back to bring the towels and such but they admitted that not locking the door was their mistake. We went out again and when we got back, we got new trash bags and clean towels but still no new soap. I’m just happy nobody went into our room while we were out.
