The staff was really great and helpful
The town of childress is hell on earth, seedy game rooms, drugs and prostitution, crooked tow truck drives, ugly all around, even the horses are ugly. Thank God I had a room, I hit a deer and was traveling through, worst place to get stuck ever. Not safe for a woman. The hotel felt safe tho.

Friendly office staff. Good breakfast with several options. Room was quiet. Beds were comfortable.
The property was going through renovations so I’m sure things were in the process of being fixed. The shower rod was bent or installed wrong because the shower curtain would not stay shut. The bathroom door was falling apart and stuck when closed all the way. There was food left on the floor from previous renters. Flies and spider in the room.

The staff was amazing to me and especially my two young children.
The pool was closed and had been for months before we booked our stay.

Location was fine since it was in an area I could take dog for a walk. They refunded my pet fee because the room smelled bad.
They said under renovations but that doesn’t excuse cleanliness. It was dingy and the room smelled. Parking lot was in disrepair and guy was hand restriping on bad pavement. There was nothing to make the place appealing from the outside. And it was the most expensive place we had stayed over a 2 week period and many hotels. .
