Soul Food 'Mont Morris'

Our stay at Soul Food Mount Morris was an absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel is located in a fascinating and architecturally beautiful historic neighborhood, in a charming historic building that has its own unique character. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own distinctive style and personality. The attention to detail makes the atmosphere truly special. The facilities are excellent: a refrigerator, spacious bathrooms, exceptionally comfortable beds, and wonderful pillows that guarantee a great night’s sleep. The room was spotless. Above all, the staff were exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. This hotel offers a unique combination of historic charm, beautiful design, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. Our stay was a truly memorable experience, and we would happily recommend Soul Food Mount Morris to anyone looking for something special in New York City!

I had a wonderful stay here. The room was comfortable and the location was very convenient for exploring New York while enjoying the atmosphere of Harlem. What I appreciated most, however, was Boothe’s exceptional hospitality. She was incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay. She truly made me feel at home, and I will remember my stay here very fondly.

The host was generous. The room was very big and special

I loved the comfortable bed, the art on the walls, the size of the room, and the service. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Also, thought it was a very solid location to get around northern Manhattan. It was nice, quiet, comfortable, and exceeded expectations.

The specific street is beautiful, and there are plenty of nearby food options, but it is a distance from many of the iconic NYC landmarks (I knew this going in, so it didn't bother me a bit, but just a heads up to a traveler from far away). That being said, everything is accessible by a nearby subway. Lastly, the way the shower in my room was set up, it is impossible to use without getting the bathroom floor outside the shower very wet. Not really a problem though.
