I appreciate the early check-in. The location was great and convenient. The bed was comfortable and I was grateful the air conditioner worked well.

Small things: I had to keep pulling the toilet chain because it constantly run or disconnected when flushing. The shower rod was torn from the drywall and just looked lowbudget needing repairs. I had hoped to soak in the hot tub for some relaxation but there were about 4-5 kids that were extremely loud and splashing around without supervision.

I debated between the various reasonably priced hotels (the “nice” and newer built ones are twice the price, and this place was literally across the street from one of those. It was older, but clean and had many other regular traveling folks. Not fancy but perfectly fine for a night along a road trip. Easy choice over paying $100 more elsewhere for just a place to sleep.

The room was clean, when getting breakfast, everything was clean! Which we very much appreciate. It has been hard finding a hotel in La Grande that the bedding has actually been changed without us having to ask for it to be. So the cleanliness was very nice. I didn't interact with the staff much, but the little interaction I did have, the lady was helpful and polite.

I'm gluten free so I'd love to see more gluten free options for breakfast like hot bacon, sausage, eggs, or potatoes. There was gluten free bread that could go in a toaster, but no one that really needs gluten free bread is going to use a shared toaster because the bread crumbs from other bread will get in it. The other options were yogurt and cereal. I'm grateful to have breakfast provided at all, but when everyone else around is having a waffle, it would be nice to have something hot to eat too.

TV did not work Computer cards were not open the doors we had to go in through the office every time I walk down the halls because the nice lady with the baby could not figure out how to make the cards work not her fault The breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast. I wouldn’t call her breakfast no eggs no sausage no beans no nothing. It’s a shabby idea for calling breakfast included. In the shower, tiny tiny little tubes of soap and shampoo. What are you afraid of? Do you think we’re gonna steal your shampoo for 150 bucks a night?
