This is a great value for a hotel in the Dallas area. Some earlier reviews said it's dated and dirty. I stayed 3 nights in 3 different rooms - the first one of the new remodels that is very nice, VERY nice. The others were the older early 2000's theme like many independent hotels but found it clean, beds comfortable, and had newer TVs, fridge, and microwave.
As the owners said, and nothing they can do, the highway can be a bit noisy when a car with no exhaust rips by, but otherwise, the same as pretty much every other highway side motel out there.

It was close to where we needed to be.
No breakfast, no coffee. Not real convenient, without elevators, we stayed on the second floor. Wouldn’t work for handicap individuals.

Staff were polite. Rooms were clean and price is reasonable.
Too close to freeway. You can hear the cars all night.

Affordable, pleasant staff
Freeway facing, noisy, cockroaches and black crickets in the bathroom. No freezer.
