It was no more than 8-10 min from lady bird lake. I was also able to walk to South Congress with no hassle at all
My keycard kept giving me issue but besides that nothing else

The hotel is relatively simple but well located, which was exactly what we expected based on the website and previous reviews. The staff was helpful, and when I reported that the air conditioning in our room was extremely noisy, they moved us to another room the next day.
The carpet in the room looked dirty, the mattress was not very comfortable, and the shower had weak water pressure. The breakfast is very basic, with only black coffee, hot water, tea bags, packaged cookies and small cakes.
