OC Hotel

The room was nice, clean and comfortable, and it was cleaned daily throughout our stay. The property itself was pleasant and well maintained overall.

I was a little disappointed with our experience, as I chose this place over other options because I had read that the owners were very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, we were greeted coldly and were bluntly told, “credit card for incidentals,” without any explanation of what this meant or what amount would be charged or held. The woman at reception came across as pretty blunt and rude, which wasn’t the warm welcome we had hoped for. There were also some stains on the towels on our first day, although these were cleaned/replaced afterwards.

Good location, ticked the boxes

Room smelt, obviously not dirty but a pungent strong scent , in need of a upgrade , breakfast very limited , only sugar cereals

It was clean, close to the beach, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Luggage rack in the room, another trash can. For breakfast, they could use two toasters or a four slice toaster would help so there is no line.

The location was convenient, and quiet.

There is no local TV option. We could not watch the World Cup! The front desk manager handed me a print out of all the available channels they have, and sent staff to our room to show us how to work the TV. When the staff showed up, they apologized and said they no longer have cable TV., and that we would have to log on to our own service (HULU, YouTube TV, etc.). Very frustrating. The breakfast was a joke.
