A neat old building, quite close to the water

I’m not great with stairs, and this place is all stairs. But it’s well-maintained and fun to look at

Historical theme is nice. The included breakfast isn't amazing but i enjoyed having waffles, yogurt and coffee. Staff were pleasant and kind.

There is a glass shelf that exploded all over the floor when my husband accidently touched it with his hand while putting his jacket on. We asked for a vacuum to clean and they said we will send someone to service the room and tell them to vacuum even though they don't usually do that. They vacuumed horribly...we had to pick up the glass ourselves so we didn't have to worry about cuts. There were exposed screws i luckily noticed and never ran into. It's also quite noisy from neighbors and other visitors of the inn. They also hide the pet fee and just advertise being Pet Friendly(which is a lie...its just Dogs, not any other animal) and are extremely strict with dogs even though they charge you $35 a night per dog. Mattress is ok, but the pillows sucked.
