Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salt Lake City South-Murray by IHG

Breakfast was excellent, front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The room ottoman was stained and very dirty. The toilet drain flap was broken and needed to be replaced often. Shower pan was very slippery with no mat. No room coffee maker. 4th floor ice maker out of order.

Very clean and well kept. Including any maintenance.

It was all good. Only 2 slight negatives. It seems to me that there was a chair missing in our room. For two people there should have been another lounge chair. I personally don’t think an office chair should be considered the second. Also our bathroom was missing hand towels. Had to make a trip to the front desk for a couple.

The location was great, friendly staff

One thing when you have a two bedroom make sure you have four towels and toilet paper. We only got two and there were three of us in the room. Plus I needed a bigger trash can and the bed felt like I was tip upside down when I was laying down. Could be flip over or something.

The hallways and rooms were clean

The location and the staff member at the front desk. She clearly hates her job and has no business being in hospitality. We asked for towels since only two were put in the room and 4 people were on the reservation. She was very put out that she had to stand up from a stool she was sitting on in a corner playing on her phone. She was face timing while working the desk. She also had no feedback on places to eat with family. Said the food around there was not good. She just seemed miserable and not happy about her job.
