Location, views, on-site restaurant.
Fire alarm going off due to old batteries late at night. Second, I did not know the standard cabins are split between two units, so you share a thin wall with someone else. This is probably my fault for not seeing this beforehand (although I felt like I thoroughly read the listing and looked through pics) Not a major issue though and we still had a great stay.

Really enjoyed the rustic aethestic, comfortable sleeping.
No AC, only ceiling fan. Cabin has an electric fireplace. Large room. Updated shower clean and comfortable.
The cabins ate steps away from shoreline of Fremont Lake. Beautiful scenery. Quiet area, only a dozen cabins
Dog friendly Ina several designated cabins.
Despite instructions on key, the entry door did not lock . It was open/unlocked upon our arrival. We never figured out how to run ceiling fan, at night, without the ceiling light being on.

Beautiful location - sitting on the deck overlooking the lake was transcendent… We walked to the CCC ponds and actually saw a moose! It made our trip!
We could hear critters in our room… During the night we could hear a mouse chewing through a Ziploc that had peanut brittle in it on the TV stand… Then from three to around 6 o’clock, I could hear animals scratching, and chewing or biting into wood. I didn’t know if it was a squirrel or an owl or a bat, but I definitely lost sleep over it.
