I loved that it was family owned ! The owner and his wife were lovely people! The location was great and I loved that the property was like a step back in time. Beautifully decorated. , clean and very comfortable. My daughter and I loved our day !!

Besides the great location to venues, the style, decor and wow cleanliness and attention to detail of the room and premises are amazing!! Don and Brenda are exceptional hosts and fun to chat with! Definitely coming back - it's the go-to accommodations in Custer!! Thanks Don and Brenda!!!

This motel is retro in all the best ways. Obviously recent updates make the room cozy, roomy, and comfortable. The bed, shower, appliances, heating/cooling, towels, location, ease of check-in--all were perfect. We would definitely stay here again.
The only issue, and it is relatively minor in light of other convenient options in the room, is that the bathroom doesn't have a fan. Leave the door open; maybe open the bathroom window! It's all good.
