Savannah House Wine Country Inn & Cottages

The owner’s attention to detail in preparing the room was exceptional. From the soft music playing upon arrival to the thoughtfully arranged books and tea placed on the bed, every touch felt welcoming and intentional. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The owner was welcoming and personable, and clearly took great pride in maintaining the inn, which was evident in every detail of the property. We were greeted outside when we arrived. Although we were a little early, our room was ready, and we were given helpful information about the local area. The moment I opened the door, I was captivated by the view of the lake through the back patio doors. My main goal for this trip was to find a place where I could relax in the mornings and evenings while enjoying a peaceful lakeside setting, Sitting on the patio overlooking the water was exactly the experience I had hoped for. The location was perfect, offering a quiet retreat while still being conveniently situated between Watkins Glen and Geneva. If you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway with thoughtful hospitality and beautiful views, I highly recommend staying here.

The room was very clean and well decorated. It was centrally located to Geneva and Watkins Glen with many wineries within 5-10 min drive. The view of the lake from the back deck is beautiful. Jeff was very responsive of any questions we had. Very nice place to spend a few days.

The views

It’s by a shooting range. Don’t plan on taking any naps in the afternoon. Rooms were small but very clean. They allow smoking outside and since it’s a motel you can smell the smoke right away. So we had to close our slider and windows for almost the whole time.
