Murphy Motel

Very clean and comfortable for the price! I was skeptical because the location and exterior are fairly average. Inside has been renovated and is very clean and comfortable.

Road out front was busy and had some noise for a short while in the morning.

Absolutely wonderful stay. This this motel offers very clean rooms that even smell really nice. This is my second time staying here and will definitely stay here each time I travel to Murphy.

A ice machine and ice bucket would be nice, but the owner supplied me with 2 cups full of ice. Very nice and accommodating. Love the Murphy Motel!

If you are looking for the cheapest rate in town AND a good comfortable bed, this is the place! It is older, but clean. It is totally west of town about 2 miles from Hotspot/129. Proprieters were very pleasant. Room has microwave, mini-frig and coffee maker. Good water pressure in shower and hot water! Check out is at 10:30 am and I didn't see any ice machine/facility. It was quiet as it only had a few guests even with it off the hwy. Occasionally you heard a loud engine go by but no noise after 9 pm. I would stay again but again, it is older but clean and comfortable. And reasonable!

Ice machine offered, mentioned. Lock for dead bolt didn't quite fit/work. USed the door handle one only. Next to my room on sidewalk was a grill/propane tank set up. Nice to have but feel it should be set up maybe with a picnic table in another area. The outlet for coffee maker didn't seem to work and water was cloudy (along with a tiny spider that came out when I washed the receptacle). I changed the outlet and it worked fine.
