Quiet and clean. Staff was a nice man. You’re close to downtown and the value was great.

The Top of the Hill motel was an older structure without all the fancy fluff provided by the way more expensive chains. I like that it is an individual owner setup and not a corporate America overpriced place to basically go to sleep. The room was clean, the bed was acceptable, the TV worked fine after some fiddling with the remote, the bathroom and shower were up to snuff. And last but not least, the price was very reasonable for a room on a weekend during leaf peeper season in upstate NY.
The traffic noise was a bit concerning and there was no WIFI, but maybe it is good to be away from ones devices for a short spell. Of course one can use their cell phone for just about everything so no big deal with the WIFI.

The shower was Amazing!! I would return just for that!! The owners are very nice and polite. The guy loved cracking jokes. It's a very peaceful place.
The pillows are kind of thin, but I just put 1 on top of the other. That was fine.

Very clean, good location on central highway. Easy to get to the concert hall at SPAC.
No frills, but no problem because it was only for one night. Price high but because it was Racing season (August) at Saratoga, everything was overpriced -- at least double from July prices for the same properties
