Elmere House Bed & Breakfast

The house was gorgeous inside and outside! Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The best part was the delicious breakfast. If we come back this way we will definitely stay here.

Initially, we were attracted to this property because of its location and the general presentation of the property statistics and photographs. However, once we arrived, and we’re greeted by Michael and then later Bill, we felt right at home. The two of them make you feel like you’re part of the family and take care of your every need. Not only are they attentive to you as paying guests, but also as family members. The congeniality at the morning breakfast was a welcome start of each day. Moreover, in the kitchen, Bill is a magician with making delicious and varied breakfasts each day.

Fabulous place. This was our first time staying here and it did not disappoint. The property is impeccable and gorgeous. Our hosts were wonderful and so helpful explaining everything and helping us find a perfect spot for dinner. Our room was beautiful, the blue hues brought right in from the ocean. The entire inn is super clean and very, very quiet even though it is located on Rt. 1. Breakfast was fabulous starting off with our favorite and so refreshing bowl of very fresh seasonal fruit. The Eggs Benedict were amazing and the Home Fries were incredible. Everything was perfect and Bill and Michael went out of their way to make us feel welcome. After breakfast we sat in comfortable chairs in the beautiful yard and just soaked up the September Maine sunshine.
