Colonial Valley Motel

It was nice

Liked everything!

Our room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom has been updated recently and was spacious with modern fixtures. The bed was very comfortable.

The exterior looked a bit shabby so I was a little concerned when checking in. However, our room was nice.

This motel was clean comfortable and quiet.

This is minor, but I could not figure out how to get local stations on the tv. I could get movies, but not programs.

Finding bug in bathroom 30 min after checkin a knock on our door asking us for $20 more dollars for our service dog...had to go seek a refund in the morning for thst because it is against Maine state law to be charged an extra pet fee for a service animal. Danielle helped us in the morning but none of it should've even happened...definitely not a positive experience. Very dated avocado green tub, with yellow tiled walls in the bathroom. First time using the bathroom I spotted the bug ( in my attached pic) I would not undress or bathe there. Would not recommend..very disappointing. I took a pic of everything in the room before we left so they couldn't spring another charge on us. They are no cancelations...i trued to cancel months prior but was told only credit towards a future stay (NOT) that set off alarm bells right then.
