Brown County Inn

Our room was very spacious, though it had a little of a musty smell but I always travel with a plug in air freshener and that took care of that issue. The bathroom was spacious and mostly clean, did find a couple stray strands of hair on the floor and in the tub but nothing bad. The location is great, you can use the provided sidewalk to go under the road and over to the other side to get to all the shops downtown. No need to take your car. The front desk staff for the most part were very nice. The people in the restaurant were fantastic as we needed a place to play games with our family and they let us use the breakfast area of the dinning room without an issue. It was fantastic. The pool was nice also. The dinner food was good and the wait staff was fantastic. The hotel was quiet also.

One of the front desk employees was kind of short and rude to some customers and you could tell they were either having a really bad day or just did not like their job. The cost for breakfast is way too expensive, we did not eat there at all as we could not justify the cost for a simple breakfast. Dinner was also kind of pricey but they could accommodate all 13 of us so it worked out. The bed was not the most comfortable, it hurt my wife and my back. Water pressure could have been better for a shower. The wifi varied on is strength depending where in the hotel you were and even when full strength it was very slow to go anywhere, so if I had cell service I would switch it off.

The room was great, the restaurant was wonderful. The pool area was absolutely Beautiful! We also liked the convenience of the shuttle to the concert venue.

The grounds could be updated. They are a little run down. That is the only reason for the score. Would definitely stay again.

It is very close to the shops in town. I loved the pool. The food is excellent.

Conveniently located

We are on the second floor. No elevator I had to carry my suitcase up steps. ( I am 75) our waitress in the restaurant made several mistakes. She walked off without one drink order brought us the wrong refills. And brought us a check that was not ours. It was about $15 more than the food we had ordered. On a good note there was a house cleaner that did help me downstairs with my suitcases.
