Comfort Inn Connellsville Riverview

Nice location by the riverside. Was very nice to go outside and have coffee by the river bank. Courteous, friendly & helpful staff.

We were allowed to bring our bikes into the room, but there is also a spacious bike room available. Breakfast was plentyful. Nice deck off the breakfast room overlooking the river.

We arrived late at night by train ~ 11pm and were ready to check in and go to bed but no one was at the reception. We waited for a while before calling but then the phone only rang at the unattended desk. We were just really tired and wanted to check in quickly.

Bed comfortable. Room very clean. Very good bathroom - lots of bars in the shower and a night light, which is rare. Better than average breakfast. And good to have a restaurant next door. Beautiful view of the river and all the resident ducks! Handy to state park, Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob.

They can't help it -- trains right across the river. Whistles in the night. I am sure if a person lives there, that would become background news but two nights don't do that.

Liked the river view from third floor. Staff pleasant. Breakfast Saturday morning was ok. Was typical for continental. Saturday night staff accommodating.

Didn't like noise from a wedding event in next building; it was loud and lasted past midnight. We were on end room near stair exit and restaurant. There was a power outage entire Saturday evening 4 pm - ? Still no power on checkout Sunday. Had to use stairs up and down 3 floors using phone flashlight through hallways. Very hot!! Lost all food in our room fridge. No breakfast next day. No compensation, no voucher, no discount... I know the storm wasn't the hotels fault, but some gesturial discount? Something from the business would have been good business. Not even coffee the next morning!!! Just rough night, little sleep . We stayed two nights and were glad to leave. Didn't use amenities, no pool, no gym etc...Pool looked blurry even before outage so didn't use.
