The staff was extremely nice. The people at the desk were so cheerful and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast was nice.
The grounds looked unkept. Weedy, rough, getting our suitcases down a rough path to our room from the parking lot above wasn't easy. We found a stairway that was more conveniently located, but carrying the suitcases up a flight of stairs isn’t easy for older guests. The rooms were very dark. The bathroom area had better lighting.

It is located in a great location. The pool area was very nice.
You are definitely paying for the location and not the quality of the room. The tub was clogged and didn't drain until way later after showering. It was very gross. The room is also a little dated. Also, where the door chain was attached to the door frame, it was like a bunch of the frame was chiseled out of it (ie a big whole in the door frame).
