A beautiful, private escape. My husband and I enjoyed our room in the carriage house and the pool and grounds there.

The hotel is very pretty. The rooms are don’t nicely and the products offered in the room are great. The masseuse was excellent. The ownership intention is good but…
The service was average to poor. Although everything functions fine, the staff is adequate bordering on unhelpful. They feel not well enough trained to be working at a hotel at that price. To pay such prices off-season and have one-word answers and an unfriendliness. It feels like there is a single way they know how to do things, and the lack of training makes the staff feel unwelcoming or inconvenienced.
