Location and food

The location on a traditional town square with cafes and a couple of small shops was delightful. We enjoyed sitting outside for a drink before diner. Attractive reception area. Our bedroom was an attic room located at the rear so was quiet and comfortable although small. Good shower. Excellent restaurant. Private free parking. The historic abbey over the road was interesting.
Lack of sound proofing between the attic rooms but it did not unduly affect us.

Very pleasant hotel, nice staff, great location. Nice pool. Good restaurant on site.
No Air conditioning and renting out rooms under the eaves in a heat wave. Standard French excuse of it’s an old building but the bathrooms have ventilation so that excuse doesn’t add up.
