I can’t say enough about how wonderful and magical our stay at the villa was. Andrea (sp?) attended to all of our needs and requests and Antonia and Daniella made the most exquisite meals for our dining pleasure. The gardens and pool are beautiful. Truly a vacation to remember!

e thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Podere i Casini. Susi was the perfect host and replied very promptly and efficiently to all messages. The property itself is set in a beautiful location and within wonderful, well maintained grounds, with a fabulous fenced swimming pool, that just requires a few more umbrellas or shelter. A clean modern toilet and hand washing facility is at the pool which is fantastic, however a fridge at the pool area would be very useful. Tennis rackets and balls were provided. As seen from the photos the interiors of the individual 4 apartments are traditionally Italian and the kitchens are well equipped, however a few more modern amenities would make it perfect. Our party included a few individual families with small children and the layout worked very well. The location is remote, however there is a wonderful Agriturismo, called Erta within 1/2 a mile, it is a steep climb home but manageable for those able bodied. It is set in a fantastic location, with a fabulous terrace, stunning views, amazing wildlife and endless fireflies, providing good home produced wine and fantastic food and even a children’s play area so the adults can relax whilst the children are playing! The host was a lovely man, who spoke good English and loved talking about food and the local area, and was fantastic with the children! There were other local restaurants too within a few km, however check opening times! Other great places to visit locally were Casole d’Elsa, San Gimignano, Sienna, Monteriggioni, all within a comfortable drive of the property. We went to Colle di Val d’Elsa for a supermarket, the Coop seemed the best.
