Third Street Inn

We didn't make it to breakfast. The pool area looked nice, but we arrived too late and left too early to enjoy it. Check-in was pretty smooth with Alice.

The stairs to the second floor and the hallway on the second floor were filthy. Looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The room was a bit dated. The entire hotel was marketed through pictures as much fancier and much more modern than what we experienced in person. Thankfully, it was a quick overnight on the way to a race, so we were at the hotel less than 12 hours, just to sleep. Wouldn't be likely to stay here again unless all other options were booked.

Great location close to downtown. Breakfast was good too.

Water pressure in the shower was lacking. Hot tub jets didn’t work.

Because of my disability I was very specific about how far I could walk without a wheelchair. I asked in email and on the phone that my room was as close to the lobby as possible. Nope ! dead center from either entrance door. Staff needs to believe what customers tell them regarding disabilities.

Breakfast was nice...room was clean and comfortable.

Water pressure was poor (you could barely rinse your hair) and on the last morning there was no hot water at all. When I told the clerk I was told one hot water heater had been out for a couple weeks and so didn't work at prime times when they are full.
