L'Ancora

The location of this accommodation was magnificent, and our host met us so we could easily park the car in a secure spot. Breakfast was served in our room for us to enjoy with a magical view of the sea and the harbor—simply magical.

Our stay at L’Ancora in Portovenere was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Silvano made us feel like honored guests. He met us at the taxi and carried our luggage to the B&B, which was a wonderful welcome after a long day of travel. Every morning, Silvano brought breakfast to us, a lovely touch that made our mornings feel unhurried and special. He was incredibly responsive and kind. The B&B itself was warm, welcoming, spotless, and comfortable, with amazing views of the water and the surrounding landscape. Waking up to that scenery never got old. Definitely would book here again.

Silvano was great. He met us at the bus station and helped us with our luggage with his electric mule and led us to the BNB. Also breakfast every morning was delicious and fresh

Really lovely, beautifully decorated, calming and clean room. The host was extremely accommodating, really hospitable, and went over and above to give us a good stay. Absolutely loved the breakfast in bed ! Excellent location on the main little street of Portovenere with access to restaurants and shops directly from your door. The room (the smallest advertised) was larger than expected and had a very useful changing space with a luggage table, which fit even our large suitcase. Really excellent shower with great shower pressure.
