Hyatt House Washington DC/The Wharf

Clean, close the concert venue The Anthem. Great breakfast. Easy check in and out.

The lighting in the bedroom and bathroom was terrible. Very hard to see anything after the sun went down!

It was close to lots of restaurants. Right on the wharf where you can take daily walks. The staff were very friendly. Always greeting us and asking how our stay has been.

Location, location, location! It was directly on the wharf and so close to the attractions! Lovely view of the water as well!

THAT. BATHROOM. DOOR! That door was so janky. It was a slide-able slab (can’t even call it a barnyard door) that when you try to close and then lock the door, the door gapped open on the other side where you can see the room from the bathroom, effectively making the slab null! THEN! If you didn’t lock the slab, it would just magically slide open, exposing you to the bedroom while you’re on the loo. Not. Cool! The room was also tiiiiiiny. The tv was directly at the foot of the bed with little room to move around otherwise, thus making the bathroom door issue even more of an issue. Having stayed in other locations on the wharf that were also on the smaller side, the room was not up to snuff comparatively. It did the trick, but i doubt I’d stay here again of my own free will
