Lexen Hotel - North Hollywood Near Universal Studios

This hotel was chosen for the affordable parking that was close enough to universal studios. Parking spaces are limited, so get your spot early. Nice small grab and go breakfast, here is coffee shop 12 feet away if you prefer. Stayed Sun-Tues and is the PERFECT time to visit Universal with minimal to no wait time in line.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable for my liking. Prefer a firm mattress.

Weird neighborhood slightly sketchy

Fantastic Location: The hotel is situated in a very nice area of North Hollywood, with plenty of convenient stores and shops nearby. ​Great Amenities & Staff: The property offers easy parking, and the staff members were overall very friendly. ​Comfortable Spaces: The room itself was notably big and very clean.

Horrible Sleep Quality: The mattress was completely worn out, making it incredibly difficult to get a good night's sleep. ​Disappointing Service: I informed the staff about the mattress on the first day, but nothing was done. The next day, they simply flipped the mattress to the other side—which obviously didn't help. Management never followed up to check if the problem was solved, and they never offered to change our room to resolve the issue. ​Closed Amenities: The bar was closed and not operating during the middle of our stay.
