I absolutely loved the location and decor. The property is obviously extremely well maintained, and a great deal of care goes into the little things, making it feel extremely comfortable and welcoming.

I had booked the downstairs Magnolia room, with a view of the garden. It was wonderful! Overall, this was a beautiful, rustic, and comfortable place to stay. It has a storybook kind of feel to it. Very awe inspiring. Definitely a place worth checking out and experiencing, even if it’s just for a night or two.
I don’t really have anything very negative to say, honestly. The only little issue I had was upon entering/checking into the property. The key code I was given to enter through the front door didn’t seem to work. Perhaps the keypad didn’t work very well and it wasn’t a code issue, or I just didn’t do it right? I’m not sure. I didn’t see or hear any kind of feedback from the keypad indicating that it worked at first, but I had to waved down a lady that was cleaning on the side of the property, to help me enter the house so I could check in.

The house is graciously prepared, and the management was very helpful about our late arrival. Breakfast was lovely.
It's obviously a,very old house, with period furnishings. It was less comfortable than I expected, while still beautifully done. Guests should ascertain whether they can easily manage steep stairs and sleep on a very firm mattress.
