We stayed as a family of five, and the apartment was a great choice. The location in the center of Alfama is excellent, with everything within walking distance. Our host was wonderful: very easy to communicate with and quick to respond whenever we needed something. The apartment was extremely clean and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen had everything we could have hoped for. Even though it's in such a central spot, it was very quiet at night and we all slept really well. We'd happily stay here again.

Homely and welcoming with complementary coffee/tea. Compact but everything you need for a couple or a single person travelling. Patio is gorgeous.
The stairs to the bedroom loft are very steep and narrow with no hand rail, so not advisable for travellers who are not agile.

Fantastic location in Alfama, small fridge, coffee machine with coffee, air conditioner (which was needed),
Washing machine and drying racks, , lovely patio!
Stairs to upper bedroom felt a little unsafe as they were very steep - would appreciate a hand rail. Steep access of the road and stairs internally do not suit someone with mobility issues.
