Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Vondelpark

The room was very comfortable and clean. Also the community areas were amazing and clean.

Nothing everything was great

Overall, the interior was pretty, clean, and had a great vibe.

Everything was great, but the ladder to the top bunk was super uncomfortable, making it really hard to climb up and down.

Modern looking

The room has a very small window, me and my husband stayed in a room meant for 6 and we could feel the temperature increase during the night, so keep in mind how a full room would feel. The room was not dirty, but it was not clean either, there was a dead mosquito smashed in one of the bunk beds, the bed cover had white stains on it… and the trash bins were dirty. For 2 people, more than 100€ a night, I’d expect at least the bare minimum of cleaning. We also used one of the trash bags on the first night, which was not replaced, so I don’t even think they clean/replace daily. This would be fine for a hostel, if when first entering the room, things would have been clean.
