Good location for TMB trekking

Not too much. The window opens to the street; it was noisy, but not bad.

The hotel has an Italian restaurant. Food was very good. The breakfast is all you would expect. Car par is small and if you arrive late you may struggle to find a place. Hotel now has EV chargers.

The EV chargers are unreliable. Suspect it is due to poor 4G reception. Had a few problems.

The staff was super kind.

There was a bit of humidity smell in the room but nothing intolerable

Check-in was efficient; breakfast was adequate; left luggage facility was very useful.

There was a heatwave in France. Despite assurances that the weather would cool in the night, the room remained warm. Understand that there is no air-conditioning but not even a fan! Room was quite small, had a bed and towels. That was it! It was the highest price we paid for accommodation during our one-month trip - to be somewhat fair, it was because there was a big event in Chamonix - but the lowest in terms of value. A portable fan, a vending machine for drinks, ice-machine...some simple additions would have moved the needle significantly.
