Hostal Alhambra - Adults Only

Everything was very clean and staff were great, we checked in late and they gave us very clear self check in instructions very close to main centre.

Hallway did smell like cat wee, I wish bathroom had a window as or fan as it got very steamy and sadly our room didn’t have a balcony but we did have a small window, but it got really hot or if we wanted air, sleeping with air con wasn’t an option.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a "Hostal" - and it was terrific - better than some hotels I have stayed in. I realized later that many places in Nerja have the designation of Hostal (and nothing like hostels we may be familiar with). The reception staff are very helpful and the staff overall are very helpful. My room was clean and very comfortable. private bathroom and even a balcony. The Hostal is a 10-15 minute walk to the bus station; and a similar walk to the beach. For other travel - no ubers of course, and the taxicab area never seems to have taxis. Get the taxicab number - I used taxis twice and never waited more than 5-10 minutes. Restaurants are plentiful, and the nightlife looked quite vibrant from my window. Though I never heard any noise. Definitely a great place to stay
