Reykjavik Lights Hotel by Keahotels

The property was very convenient, clean, and we could walk to downtown. The included breakfast was awesome. We also had a stellar experience with the front desk, especially with Martha, who aided us greatly in obtaining a new US passport for my husband. There were lots of details to handle with obtaining photos, needing a printer, and a computer. Though we didn’t know it when booking, the US Consulate was just down the street.

I really did not expect that as a single room, I would have to lug my luggage up and down stairs. Then in the morning I was told that I could not leave the card keys in my room, I had to bring it to the front desk. This adds to the time. So I had to lug my luggage up the stairs then go to 2nd floor then catch elevator to first floor which is really busy in the morning. Just added to the stress of meeting the bus on time. The cups in the bathroom are very pretty but due to the uneven face up and down and sideways, it almost slipped from my hands. The cups in Kea Hotel Akureyri were simple, good looking, light and did the job.
