Lokuthula Lodges

From the extremely friendly and helpful staff, to the overall vibe of the lodges, restaurants and environment, we found Lokhuthula to be a great central spot from which to explore the Victoria Falls area. We stayed in the 6 sleeper chalet which was comfortable, though the open plan loft room not quite suited to a young couple with no true privacy and traipsing up and down stairs to the bathroom, there only being an en-suite and a shared bathroom for the other 4 people. Because there were a lot of monkeys we could not experience the true openness the lounge/outdoors offered with the canvas sides. Bushbuck and babies were close to the chalets which was nice and a lot of different birds. We were located close to the Boma restaurant so could hear the drum show every night, but this was not too unpleasant. Our meal at the upstairs MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant at the Sunset Safari (main) lodge overlooking the watering hole where elephants and other game frequent, was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Overall a great experience beyond the wonder of the Victoria Falls and surrounds.

Sleeping in the middle of wildlife. Staff arranged for is to attend the BOMA dinner. Great African experience.

Niestety personel restauracji "zadbal" o zle wspomnienia

Personel restauracji zepsul naszą ocenę pobytu w tym hotelu, mimo wcześniejszej rezerwacji po przyjsciu do restauracji nie otrzymalismy stolika, o który prosiliśmy mimo ważnego dla nas dnia i jak myśleliśmy uroczystej kolacji, mimo wolnych miejsc - czekaly na lepszych gości, ostatecznie z kolacji zrezygnowaliśmy, co niespecjalnie obchodzilo panią kelnerkę, hotel też nie "zauważyl" moich urodzin w trakcie pobytu
