IKIES Santorini

WOW, just wow! Staying at Ikies was like a dream! It all starts with the staff, they are all friendly, ,welcoming, helpful and couldn't do enough for you! Hats off to the strong gentlemen who carry the luggage up and down the stairs to your rooms and deliver meals to your terrace each day! The rooms vary in size and location and know that there are stairs to all of them, many stairs but so worth the climb. We stayed in the smallest room on the property, The Gardner's Petite House but had the best location of our terrace overlooking the sea each day. The room and bathroom were spacious enough for our needs as we spent all of our time on our patio, in the pool or exploring Santorini. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well for the heat in Santorini. The location for me was ideal.... about a 10 minute walk into Oia, easy access but away from the crowds. We couldn't get over how quiet the property was both at night and during the day. Being able to look out at the sea and the town of Oia, especially at sunset and then as the town lights up at night was truly magical. Meals here are wonderful!! We were warned that there are some serious Greek grandmas cooking in the kitchen and there must be. It was a delight to be served a hot breakfast each morning on the terrace with a view. We also had lunch more than once, the caprese salad and tomato fritters are worth a mention and then dinner.... why walk to town looking for a restaurant with a view, when you have one of the best ones here and the food was delicious! We pre ordered the sea bream and the sea bass then had salad, mushroom risotto, dessert and wine. This place is special, do yourself a favor and book now!

Absolutely nothing

The location, the hotel team and the breakfast with the espetacular view! Special congrats to and for Angelica…. An amazing hostess!

The only thing we have noticed was the lack of hot water on the shower (it was not cold, almost warm) but it did not bother us… it was still summer weather outside.

Close to taxi drop off - really secluded so didn’t feel we had crowds walking past us and service was great

The workers were so far ahead and so awesome service. The hotel is so beautiful that the cruise ship tour the area where our view looks out to the rest of Oia. our rooms were to die for.

Absolutely nothing. I loved every second at this hotel.
