Bed and Breakfast La Stazione Del Vaticano

2nd time staying in this apartment and highly recommend it. The apartment itself is lovely, spacious, air conditioned, lovely shower. Hanna who owns it is so nice, really helpful, doesn't really speak any English but makes herself well understood. A continental breakfast is provided and she also shows you your shelf in the fridge which is stocked with milk, yoghurt, bread & jams. There's a coffee machine & coffee & tea are provided. The apartment is literally round the corner from St Peter's square and there's also a train & bus station across the road to go further afield. Value for money, book it you won't be disappointed.

Everything was perfect

The room was large and clean, the aircon was great in the Roman heatwave, we loved coming back to the room to cool off. The property is well located with the train and bus right outside, plus we could cheaply Uber into Rome. Very very close to the Vatican also. Hanna was a friendly and accommodating host, gave us some good recommendations and was there to help. Grazie mille for having us Hanna, we had a lovely stay! 🥰

Nothing, we thought it was great value for money.

Very beautiful with a terrace for breakfast. Centrally located near St Peter’s, we could walk to where we needed to go. It was also a short walk to the train/ bus station.

On the plus side, its location was very good—just a short walk from the Vatican, with plenty of shops and cafés within easy reach.

Our stay at the apartment was disappointing for several reasons. First, the listing did not mention that we would be sharing the house with other tenants, which impacted our privacy and overall comfort. Upon arrival, the unit had a persistent, unpleasant odor, and the bedding appeared unclean. We were also unable to use the kitchen to prepare meals, despite this being advertised as an amenity. Lastly, although our hostess was very friendly, she spoke exclusively in Italian—even after we explained that we do not understand the language—making communication difficult.
