The bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Breakfast was wonderful. The garden and whole property are a tranquil cooloasis in the bustling neighbourhood and unexpected heat
There is a musty smell in the room and the shower curtain had some mould spots

The garden and cafe is beautiful, as is Akong Rinpoches Room, amazing, wonderful
The problem for the Guest House is that the Sechen Monastery next door burns their rubbish about 15 meters away from the accomodation. So from 7 am to 7pm smoldering smoke seeped into my room, even with the windows closed. This appears to be an on going issue for the guest house, as others have complained.
Personally considering the price I thought the smell was unacceptable, and the management should seriously approach Rinpoche next door to resolve the matter.
Other than that, it's a wonderful experience. But check your not on the bonfire side before booking.
