Beautiful view! The home is well taken care of, but felt comfortable and relaxing to have kids and a pet. The customer service was excellent as well! We had one issue that was resolved within an hour and didn't impact our vacation at all. There is no cell service at the cabin itself, but there was good wifi. We enjoyed not having service and utilized the time to truly check out of real life and enjoy spending time together. 10/10 would recommend!

This is a very nice location but keep in mind it is in the middle of nowhere. 1 hour from Blowing Rock. No restaurants around. The one on site is only open Friday nights during the winter. So pack everything you need. Is a great place for horses and riding.

Leatherwood was a great place to stay. The property was as described and clean. Very private and wonderful time!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was average overall. Very clean but upstairs creaks when walking around or moving on couch, no toiletries provided so don’t forget yours as there is no place close! We did not have horses so barn wasn’t beneficial for us but certainly would be for those who are bringing horses.
