The location and building are magical. The owner was nice and didn’t mind speaking English to me.

The only thing I found weird was when I arrived for dinner and check in I was put in another room by myself so there was no atmosphere. Even though there was three free tables in the main room. Other than that I loved it there it was a nice rest for me and a good experience.

• Breathtaking Location & Ambiance: This former castle is incredibly romantic, picturesque, and beautifully converted into a gorgeous hotel right on the banks of the Tarn River. • Exceptional & Professional Staff: The reception team was highly professional, incredibly helpful, and provided us with outstanding recommendations for local tours and excursions around the area. • Spectacular Public Spaces: The spacious lobby area and the magnificent outdoor terrace attached to it are stunningly designed and beautifully maintained. It is the perfect spot to relax. • Ultimate Base for Nature Lovers: The biggest advantage is the location. It serves as an exceptional base for star trips, with incredible nature trails and scenic spots just a very short drive away.

Useful Tips & Gentle Notes for Future Guests: • Room Layout & Value: Our room was on the second floor, accessed via spiral staircases (no elevator). While cozy, the room felt a bit tight and compact. For the premium price point, we personally expected a slightly more spacious layout. • Dining (Vegetarian Perspective): The hotel prides itself on having a local chef. However, as vegetarians, we were quite disappointed with our dinner and felt it barely scratched a passing grade. It seems that vegetarian cuisine might not be their main expertise.

The apartment we stayed in was dingy and not great for cooking as so dark and not enough equipment. Overall it was ok but didn’t feel great value for money
