Breakfasts were excellent- fresh and a good range of choices. The outdoor patio looking out on the pool was lovely - a great place to have a cold beer and put your feet up. The pool was well maintained and a welcome place to cool off during the day. The garden was well looked after. The staff were very friendly and we liked that there were only a small number of rooms.

The occasional loud music from nearby bars at night/early morning. Not every night though.

The property was super comfortable and the staff were really lovely. They included so many little touches, that made the stay so comfortable; like face masks, shavers, and lovely kimono robes! The pool was lovely and warm, and each villa had a lovely outdoor seating area. The villa decorations was gorgeous too, and they even decorated for our honeymoon. Loved it.

The breakfast wasn’t great. Lots of choices (and we really liked the fruit platter, but the bacon/bread was a little funny tasting.

Nothing at all. The weekly party nearby can be heard but it’s part of the island, either where the earplugs included on that evening or better still, go to the party.

Where to start? Dolcemare is just a beautiful place to be. The gardens are delightful, the pool is perfect(easy access from our room was such a treat) the staff are welcoming, friendly and so helpful and the decor and little touches delightful and surprise the more you look. It was such a peaceful, secluded and very private stay. It is an easy stroll to the sunset beach, the harbour isn't far and you can easily walk to swim with the turtles, as we did 4 times!. Hire a bike and ride around the island, and across the island. It is easier inland, pushing is needed in parts because of soft sand. But all good fun. The food is outstanding. The breakfasts are delicious with a lot of choice and the menu for the evening meal is so good. All in all, such a memorable place to stay. We loved it.
