Great location for starting the Peaks of Balkans. Very clean and comfortable. Owner is kind and honest. Fantastic breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful view of the mountains. Close to the trailhead. And an outstanding breakfast delicious with lots of choices.

Everything was fabulous

Before we arrived I sent Florian some messages about our stay and he replied within a minute. Every time I messaged him on this trip he was extremely prompt to reply! We were greated immediately when we arrived at the Guesthouse by Florian and shown to our room. Our beds were comfy and we had a lovely little balcony that looked on to the valley which was a lovely spot post hiking. We also had a en suite bathroom which was nice. Beds were comfy and we couldn’t hear any people noise. NB this is completely separate from the guesthouse but this valley is quite loud with cockerels and dog barking (the guesthouse has thick windows so has mitigated for this as much as possible!). Breakfast has a pretty standard spread of items- breads, Jams, spreads, honey, eggs but also had beignets and cereals which we hadn’t gotten elsewhere. Drinks were juices, mountain tea and coffee What really made our stay was Florian’s excellent hospitality- he is such a lovely person and so welcoming. He really goes out of your way to make the trip easy and gives you tips as he was born and raised in Theth. He also organised our accommodation back to Schkoder and made our trip to Theth so stress free (which was nice as we only had limited time here). We felt extremely safe here as a group of three girls in our 20s!
