Alexander's Suites

Location is superb! Glorious view from patio that you could look at all day. Great spacious apartment with Netflix access on small tv. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely and served on your patio. Walking distance to sunset spots and Oia shops/bars etc. We ate at 2 local family run restaurants, one just across the road and the other, one street behind and they were fabulous and excellent value for money. There is a mini mart just across the road and the local bus stop which took us to the ferry port (via Fira) is outside this hotel.

While breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit and pastries, they only served boiled eggs. I asked if I could get fried or scrambled for the next day and they said no. Everything else was fabulous except for some miscommunication problems. If you stay in “Pearl” like we did, the fact that the hot tub is for your private use is not communicated properly to the neighbours. A few times we had people in our hot tub and when questioned, they said they were told it was shared. When I asked the manager via email he said it was not to be used by the next door guests. He did tell me he would try to fix this miscommunication in the future. Also, the other apartments definitely had their own private tub. Only had a Double bed which meant I had to sleep on the single as we cannot survive on a double bed 😜 For such a large space, a larger fridge would make it more convenient for a self contained apartment.

Fantastic location and great Caldera views. Room was large with plenty of space for luggage etc and a great cave shower. Breakfast served to table outside your room with a wonderful view.

The exit light in the room was very bright. Did not know if the hot tub was meant to be shared or not. Likewise for the table outside our room.
