Access was grim through dark scary areas

Great location, although right next to late night bars. The hotel does a good job of having double windows to block out most of the sound but I'd recommend bringing earplugs too. A decent size room and kitchenette was useful. The staff were professional and friendly.

The 200€ security deposit was annoying. I had to call up to arrange it but didn't feel comfortable giving my details over the phone. Therefore we had to go in person to a different location to pay it. First time I've encountered such a charge whilst staying in a hotel and it was an unnecessary extra problem to deal with. Room instructions say to clean dishes and glasses etc after use but they don't provide cleaning equipment (like a sponge or washing up liquid). I don't mind cleaning up after myself but please give me the means to do it.
