Hotel Blümlisalp is located amid the First and Männlichen Ski and Hiking Area, on the road to the Upper Grindelwald Glacier. The ski bus stop is in front of the hotel and runs every 15 min. In winter, you can ski right down to the hotel.

Million-dollar view, onsite restaurant, good breakfast and easy to get around with local bus stopping right outside the hotel.
No lift, but not a problem if you are fit.

The staff is very knowledgable on local affairs and was always willing to help

Quaint and at the far end of the village. Quiet , nice location.
Check in was self check in and suit cases need to be carried upstairs. If you are not fit to do so yourself it’s a bit tricky.

The breakfast options were pretty limited, and the staff weren't very friendly. They really made you feel like you were getting in their way.
The hotel is located uphill, so you have to take a bus to get there. Once the bus service ends after 7 PM, you'll need to take a taxi, which costs around 36 Swiss Francs. So unless you're driving, the location is a bit out of the way.
