We loved the house and especially the location of the property close to Montepulciano. The view of the village is spectacular. We were pleased with the overall accommodation with some recommendations for improvements that would make a future stays at the villa even better... 1. Kitchen: dishwasher did not work properly (leaking water on the floor, dishes not really clean); stove not working properly,; toaster did not work; broom - very old covered spider nets, pan was broken, ants on the counter at all times 2. Dining: two chairs with broken back rest at the dining table, we replaced them with iron chairs from the outdoor 3. Air-conditioning: it worked in general but at times a fuse had to be reset and the same goes for the power to the units. There was a moldy smell coming from some of the AC discharges 4. Internet WiFi - inconsistent and had to be reset several times during our stay 5. Bathroom: in some of the units the water pressure in shower was very low to be efficient 6, Door mats: at some units the doormat was disgusting (very old, missing edges, used by cats for sharpening claws...) 7. Outdoor outside of Units: clumps of dried leaves mixed with discarded plastic, never swept 8. Grounds: weeds around the roses beds where everywhere, some dried rose stems in places 9. Working Farm: surrounding areas around the chicken and goat pens were in disarray, rotten zucchini, peaches in plastic boxes left there for our entire stay 10. Swimming Pool: Blessing that it is there. Water was clean in the pool but the overflow was full of debris, problems with circulation due to fuse disconnect, pool mechanical room under the pool structure was a mess, the design of the pool brings a question of safety , especially at the deck area where there is a gap between the pool and the overflow basin (a chance of getting injured by falling into the lower overflow basin) 11.Washer Room: the room is used for storage of everything very messy, old laundry was in the washer when we needed to use it 12. Outdoor dining table: It is situated on a downhill side so the chairs on the downhill side cannot be used comfortably 13. BBQ: could be a very nice feature but again rather messy 14. Communication with staff: they are very nice people but language barrier was a problem since we did not know Italian We are writing the review not to complain but try to improve a vacation experience for others. We loved the stay very much and entertain the idea of coming back.
