The Bloc Hotel Phuket

Location was very good.

My initial room had clearly been damp as there was a dehumidifier present in the room. Had an interesting smell. Although once I requested a new room they moved me with no problems.

Very close to the beach, restaurants, shops and Bangla road. The staff are all super friendly.

We had an amazing stay.

The view was great and loved the shower in the room with the glass so U cud see the view. Staff were lively and left out happy birthday banners and flowers for both our birthdays. We were left two litres of water every day which was unexpected but very appreciated, the pool was nice The breakfast was the best I have ever tasted in all my years if travelling. Beds were extremely comfortable

The smell of damp coming from the air con ruined this stay for us. Our clothes smelt damp as the smell in the room was awful. We were provide with a small portable AC unit but it didn't work great so had to stick with the mains AC. I wouldn't go back to this hotel because of how bad it was . Also when we arrived we were not given the correct room after 17 hours of travelling I hadn't the energy to move and had to go through the inconvenience the next day. We also had issues with a transfer that was provided with our booking which we were never got but I'm unsure as to whether booking.com was at fault or the hotel
