Very nice hotel, although expensive. Excellent food. Service was good but inconsistent.

Honestly one of the best hotel stays I‘ve had so far - it‘s just the Overall calmness, the beauty of the architecture, the room, the facilities, the food,…. etc.; You would have to stay a week or more to explore all the extras it offers as well. A must stay in Kathmandu in this price range; I‘ll definitely come again, next time with my family.
The only minor point would be that the WIFI could be a bit faster (if you want to work; for a tourist stay it‘s more than enough).

Authentic design. Nice food (excluding Japanese). Good stuff. Highly recommended female spa master.
Soundproofing. To be honest, there is no soundproofing in the hotel rooms at all. Wooden windows don’t block any noise from the street. We changed 3 rooms treated to find quiet but everywhere experienced discomfort with sounds that came from outside.
