A wonderful little gem in an excellent location. The suite at the front of the main house is particularly beautiful — full of character and a real treat to stay in. The staff were lovely, helpful and generous with their local knowledge, which we really appreciated. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the back-of-house team deserve a special mention for doing such a brilliant job. Coffee facilities and a fridge in the room were truly appreciated. Thank you. 🙏🏻 We enjoyed it enough to return a couple of weeks later — and we will happily return again. Thank you to everyone at Casa San Roque! ❤️🇲🇽

If you are a light sleeper, the front suite may not be the quietest — it’s right on a main street in the centre of town, after all. It wasn’t an issue for us whatsoever, but it’s probably worth bearing in mind if you are particularly sensitive to a bit of Valladolid life happening outside your window.

Lovely comfortable and large rooms, beautiful setting. Good breakfast and right in the middle of town. Hotel were very helpful in arranging us a taxi to Chichen Itzá.

We had no hot water the whole time we were there-it wasn’t even lukewarm :(

We loved our stay here. It’s a small boutique hotel with a nice swimming pool. Rooms were a good size and included a fridge which was great. Everyday the room service did us different bathroom towel art which was lovely to come back to. Breakfast was lovely. Toast, egg and beans. Fruit starter. All beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great location to the historic centre and just a couple of roads back from the main square meant it was quiet. Would happily stay here again. 10/10!
