L ambiance chaleureuse

We liked the calmness of the site and ease of access to the wonderful sites of the area.

Our car was parked next to the chalet (number 13) but rocks and large stones fell regularly from the bank and jeopardised the safety of the car, risking considerable damage. The mattress on the double bed had mildew growing on the humid underside and smelt and felt damp (despite the heat). The mattress needs to be replaced, and the wooden board base looked damp and the wood looked friable. There was no WiFi in the chalet, and we had booked into the chalet for a change of scene to work remotely. This was only possible if we worked on a small table outside the reception area, which was sub-optimal. The reception seemed to always be closed, and no one was about, other than the staff member who checked us in. We never saw any staff in the five nights we were there. While your website displayed a swimming pool, the pool was closed during our stay. We should have been informed of this as it misrepresented your camp site. We were very much looking forward to swimming each day and this was not possible. Moreover, the restaurant and bar were closed, and the overall impression was that the campsite was functioning minimally at this time of the year. If it is your intention to dramatically reduce your services in September, this should be indicated clearly on your website.
