Absolutely wonderful. The location and the beauty of the property are exceptional. What impressed me most was the renovation and the way they have beautifully combined traditional architecture with modern comfort while preserving the authentic character of the original buildings. The staff were excellent genuinely warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, and the view from my window was simply stunning. The beautiful weather and surroundings made the whole experience even more memorable. Everything came together perfectly. This was one of those places where you genuinely enjoy simply being there.

Honestly, I can’t think of anything. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay much longer.

Loved the sensitively modernised interior while still having rustic charm.

The resort itself is beautiful, with the property spread throughout a collection of charming little historic buildings across the village. It has a lovely atmosphere and feels very unique to the area. The restaurant was also very nice, and we enjoyed dining there during our stay. The staff were particularly accommodating and friendly. They were very understanding when we raised the issue with the room and did their best to assist us with the room change, which we really appreciated.

Given the historic nature of the buildings, the doors were unfortunately very noisy. We struggled to sleep and properly relax after check-in and requested a room change within an hour of arriving. The staff were very kind and accommodating and were able to assist with the room change the following day, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was okay, but there appeared to be limited monitoring of food levels. We frequently had to ask for more eggs or fruit after these items had run out. On our final morning, we waited around 30 minutes for more fruit, only to be told later that no more would be available. The village itself is extremely small, with very little to do or explore. While the hotel is conveniently located close to Castellina in Chianti, we would have preferred to stay in a larger village with more restaurants, cafés and things to do within walking distance. For a longer stay, the location felt a little too quiet for us.
