Hotel Royal

The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The view was great and the pool and restaurant on site were a big bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay.

I underestimated the difficulty of getting to this hotel after reading other reviews. We are a healthy couple in our 20s and the walk up to the hotel with luggage was BRUTAL. There are no taxis or other options besides walking up the 30 minutes of steep steps. I would not stay here again without renting a car. They do host events which makes some common spaces in the hotel inaccessible for guests for long periods of time.

A wonderful hotel away from the noisy city centre, with excellent service, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a magical view of the lake.

The hotel is located quite far from the city centre, and the road to it is a steep uphill walk. It takes about 20 minutes to walk up, which can be quite challenging, especially with luggage. If you’re not prepared for such a walk, I would recommend taking a taxi.

The hotel is beautifully located on a lush green mountainside, with serene views and a peaceful setting. The natural surroundings create a lovely atmosphere and make the property feel like a relaxing retreat.

During our stay, the hotel hosted a private baptism celebration with extremely loud dance music for much of the day, which significantly disrupted the peaceful and relaxing experience we had expected. We were not informed about the event in advance, nor were we offered any compensation for the inconvenience. Given the hotel’s tranquil setting, this was particularly disappointing.
